  1. Peanut Butter Dog Treat (No Baking)

Take a cup of pumpkin puree, ¼ cup milk, ¼ cup peanut butter, and 3 cups rolled oats. Use an electric mixer with paddle attachment to mix peanut butter, milk, and oats in a bowl. Add 2 ½ cups of oats gradually while still beating the mixture. Now, make small balls from the mixture with the help of a cookie scoop. You can also add chunks of meat of your choice to this mixture before making the balls.

Rub it in the remaining oats and place the balls in the refrigerator for about an hour. Serve them to your dog after an hour of freezing. The treats can be stored in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to a week.

Take a cup of chicken (diced), 3tbsp. rice flour, ½ cup cooked rice, 1 egg, and 1tbsp parsley. Blend all these ingredients in a food processor. Once blended, use a spoon to put the mixture into silicone moulds. Place the moulded treats into the freezer until they turn solid.

  1. Chicken Dog Biscuits

Take around 1lb. Chicken (giblets), ½ cup broth from boiling the chicken, three beaten eggs, 3tbs. Coconut oil, 2 cups wheat flour and ½ cup cornmeal. Once the chicken giblets are cooked, combine the chicken, broth, eggs, and oil in a blender and blend them until they are mixed well but chunky. Pour this mixture into a bowl and add cornmeal and flour to it before mixing.

Now, start dropping spoonfuls of this mixture onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes at 450 degrees.

Canned fish is a simple ingredient if you want to prepare meat-based treats. Just buy any canned fish (bone-free), use your fingers to break them into chunks and place the pieces on a dehydrator tray. Let it dry for about 6-8 hours. You can also toss some dog-friendly herbs when you set the treats to dry.

Take one can of wild salmon, 2tbsp. dried parsley, 2 egg whites, ½ cup shredded carrot, and ½ cup breadcrumbs. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Drain all the liquid from salmon and remove the skin and bones. In a bowl, mix salmon, egg whites, parsley, and carrot. With the help of cookie scooper, you can scoop small balls of this mixture before flattening them into patty form.

Coat bread crumbs on the patty and place them on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for about 12-15 minutes on both the sides. Cool them completely before serving.

If your canine has a grain allergy, this apple ginger treats can be a delicious option. You’ll need ½ a cup finely diced apple, 1 cup rice flour, 2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt ½ tbsp., finely minced ginger, ½ cup chicken (minced), and 1tbsp. coconut oil. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir them together to create a stiff dough. Roll the mixture on a cutting board and use a cookie cutter to cut the treats into the desired shape. Bake for about 20 minutes until the treats turn golden brown.
